Exploring Estimation Procedures for Reducing Dimensionality in Psychological Network Modeling
To understand psychological data, it is crucial to examine the structure and dimensions of variables. In this study, we examined alternative estimation algorithms to the conventional GLASSO-based exploratory graph analysis (EGA) in network psychometric models to assess the dimensionality structure of the data. The study applied Bayesian conjugate or Jeffreys' priors to estimate the graphical structure and then used the Louvain community detection…

The Role of Epistemic Curiosity in Game-Based Learning
Background Videogames are emerging as increasingly popular tools for training complex skills, in part due to their potential for improving the transfer of learning to changing demands. One caveat is that training outcomes are primarily influenced by a learner’s capability and willingness to engage in adaptive learning processes. The present study examined the role of epistemic curiosity as a predisposition for seeking information and resolving ga…
Leadership in an interorganizational collaboration
The increased reliance on interorganizational collaborations (ICs) has created new challenges for leaders. They must attempt to apply leadership theories and behaviors developed primarily for leading within one organization or group to leading collaborations of multiple organizations and stakeholders. To provide insight into this issue, this study examines leadership behavior in an IC developing a strategic plan to promote changes to address publ…
Infant and Toddlers and Post Divorce Parental Access
The relationship between post divorce parental access to infants and toddlers and child development was explored. Children under three years of age (n = 45) from divorcing or divorced homes were evsluated for visitation/access patterns, attachment to the custodial mother and noncustodial father (based on the mother's report) and psycho-motor development. Fathers who were more involved in early child rearing activities visited more frequently afte…
