Uneven Development of Russian Regions in the Context of Infrastructure Financialization
The impact of public and private infrastructure investment on reducing regional inequalities has not yet received sufficient scientific attention, especially in the context of the BRICS countries, including Russia. To fill this gap, this article is devoted to assessing the impact of infrastructure financialization on the unevenness of regional development in Russia. Housing rent dynamics and rent regulation in St. Petersburg (1880–1917)
This article studies housing rents in St. Petersburg from 1880 to 1917, covering an eventful period of Russian and world history. Area development and policy
A series of significant recent trends in world development involve transformations taking place at multiple geographical scales. These transformations suggest that there are multiple pathways to development, that these pathways derive from the articulation and interdependence of governance structures/capacity and development models, and that these trends will lead to a radical reshaping of the international economic and political order. Our world…
Land market and urban development in Russia
Land relations in Russia have traditionally been one of the thorniest issues at any time. An analysis of land relations development during recent decades and the causes of many land use problems leads us to conclude that the public ownership of the majority of land and non-specified property and land use rights serve as a serious impediment to the effective use of land resources in Russia. To evaluate influence of land relations on urban developm…
