Driving factors and resilience of urban green space recreational network based on Three-Step Graph Convolutional Network
A Scalable Virtual Channel With Privacy Protection and Parallel Processing for CPSS Payments
Blockchain has emerged as one of the ideal payment solutions in cyber-physical-social systems (CPSS) due to its distributed network architecture, data validation, and recording mechanism. Nevertheless, the block size and consensus mechanism of blockchain significantly limit its transaction throughput, resulting in a slow transaction confirmation process. Although traditional payment channel network (PCN) schemes can enhance the confirmation speed…

Translation of Hmong Folklore Terms in Hmong Oral Epic “Creating Heaven and Earth” From the Perspective of Eco-Translatology
The Hmong, a Chinese ethnic minority, possess a rich cultural heritage. Due to their unique history of exile and migration, the Hmong have scant documentation of their vanishing cultural heritage. The Hmong oral epic constitutes a vital component of documenting Hmong culture. Thus, this paper delves into the translation of the Hmong Oral Epic 'Creating Heaven and Earth', focusing on folklore terms as fundamental units for analyzing Hmong culture.…

A serial cascade effect of cybervictimization and hostile rumination on the within‐person change of moral disengagement
OBJECTIVE: There is a lack of clarity regarding the developmental mechanisms underlying moral disengagement (a typical moral personality) at the within-person level. To address this issue, we explore the serial cascade effect of cybervictimization and hostile rumination. METHOD: The longitudinal relationships between cybervictimization, hostile rumination, and moral disengagement were explored among 1146 undergraduates, assessed four times (T1-T4…

Xiaoyaosan promotes neurotransmitter transmission and alleviates Cums-induced depression by regulating the expression of Oct1 and Oct3 in astrocytes of the prefrontal cortex
Ginsenoside RK3 promotes neurogenesis in Alzheimer's disease through activation of the CREB/BDNF pathway
In conclusion, this study demonstrated that RK3 promotes learning and cognition in APP/PS1 and C57 mice by promoting neurogenesis and synaptogenesis through the CREB/BDNF signaling pathway. Therefore, RK3 is expected to be further developed into a potential drug candidate for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD)
Norboldine improves cognitive impairment and pathological features in Alzheimer's disease by activating AMPK/GSK3β/Nrf2 signaling pathway
Understanding the moral cognition of aggression: Longitudinal serial effects of personal relative deprivation and hostility on within‐person changes in civic moral disengagement
Moral disengagement is an important aggressive and moral cognition. The mechanisms of changes in moral disengagement remain unclear, especially at the within‐person level. We attempted to clarify this by exploring the serial effects of personal relative deprivation and hostility on civic moral disengagement. We conducted a three‐wave longitudinal survey with 1058 undergraduates (63.61% women; mean age = 20.97). The results of the random intercept…
The effect of interpersonal responsibility trait on altruism: The mediating role of perspective taking
Long-term effect of cybervictimization on displaced aggressive behavior across two years: Mutually predicting mediators of hostile emotion and moral disengagement
Effects of Leader Perfectionism on Employee Innovative Behavior: Chain Mediating Role of Perceived Control and Emotional Exhaustion
This study explored from both cognitive and affective perspectives the mechanism involved in the internal effect of leader perfectionism on employee innovative behavior. Our goal was to disentangle the possible differential effects. A set of 254 leader–subordinate dyads completed a two-stage questionnaire, and the results revealed that leader perfectionism was negatively related to employee innovative behavior. Further, perceived control and emot…
Psychological distress and smoking behaviors of Chinese college students: Mediating effects of the dimensions of learning burnout
Psychological distress can only indirectly affect smoking behavior via learning efficacy, cynicism and emotional exhaustion. Adjustments from different dimensions of learning burnout such as avoiding cynicism about learning, enhancing learning efficacy and emotion exhaustion will help college students better prevent the tobacco use
Can El Niño–Southern Oscillation Increase Respiratory Infectious Diseases in China? An Empirical Study of 31 Provinces
Respiratory infectious diseases (RID) are the major form of infectious diseases in China, and are highly susceptible to climatic conditions. Current research mainly focuses on the impact of weather on RID, but there is a lack of research on the effect of El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) on RID. Therefore, this paper uses the system generalized method of moments (SYS-GMM) and the data of 31 provinces in China from 2007 to 2018 to construct a dy…
Empathy for pain in Individuals with autistic traits influenced by attention cues: Evidence from an ERP study
Previous studies have found that the behavioral patterns of individuals with autistic traits are similar to those of individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). That is, individuals with autistic traits show the impairment of empathy in daily life, but the severity of such impairment is not enough to meet the clinical diagnostic criteria for ASD. The similar behaviors between the two mean that studying individuals with autistic traits can h…

Managing hillside landscapes as national forest: Lessons learned from the Beijing Western Hills
The question of how to sustainably manage hillside landscapes as national forests is a global concern, yet strategies for effective policy action remain to be discussed, especially in China where reforestation and nationalisation of barren mountains have ended up causing even more problems. While the existing studies of Chinese national forests mainly focus on general overviews of national policies that omit nuanced and empirically rich informati…

Spatiotemporal Patterns of the Use of Urban Green Spaces and External Factors Contributing to Their Use in Central Beijing
Urban green spaces encourage outdoor activity and social communication that contribute to the health of local residents. Examining the relationship between the use of urban green spaces and factors influencing their utilization can provide essential references for green space site selection in urban planning. In contrast to previous studies that focused on internal factors, this study highlights the external factors (traffic convenience, populati…

The roots of Ilex asprella extract lessens acute respiratory distress syndrome in mice induced by influenza virus
The complex relationship with health: Rural and urban ‘poor’ women
Health and wealth are important to international social work discussions. This article examines the relationship between wealth indexes and the outcome of diseases such as diabetes, asthma, and BMI irregularities. It examines a construct of virtual neighborhoods in urban and rural populations of women. The data are drawn from the NFHS-3 (2007) and applies a hierarchical logistic regression analysis. It is found that women in mid-level neighborhoo…
