    115 undergraduates were tested to determine the number of trials required to learn a concept-identification task. An analysis was made based on a notational system which associated stimulus elements of the task with reinforcement (S), with non-reinforcement (S 1 ), or with either reinforcement or non-reinforcement (I).     9 Ss participated in an experiment comparing anticipatory heart-rate changes to two different kinds of reaction times. Ss were paid for pushing a button within 500 msec, of a signal (simple reaction time) and were paid for pushing a button within ± 250 msec, of 5 sec. after a signal (internally mediated reaction time).     3 male high-school students participated in an experiment designed to determine the effects of the magnitude of a monetary reinforcer on human behavior in a complex situation. A two-key concurrent schedule of reinforcement was used with drl as one component and either FI or VI as the second component.
