“I seldom see an Asian face”
The internationalization of higher education has led to a growing number of international students, particularly from Asia, studying music-related programs in United States, yet little systematic exploration has revealed the experiences of these students and the challenges, successes, and intercultural understandings they must navigate to complete their education abroad. Sexual Excitation and Inhibition Moderate the Strength of Concordance Between Paraphilic Interests and Behaviors
The concordance between paraphilic interest and behavior is moderate to strong in previous studies. In the present study, we examined whether sexual excitation (SE) and sexual inhibition (SI) moderate the concordance between paraphilic interest and behavior, across several paraphilic themes. We expected that stronger concordance would be found at high levels of SE and weaker concordance would be found at high levels of SI, for both men and women.…

Step-by-Step, an E-Mental Health Intervention for Depression
Step-by-Step skills and techniques, model of service integration, and its non-specialist support element are acceptable. Though the sample was small and non-controlled and drop-out was high, results suggest that it may be effective in reducing depression and anxiety symptoms and increasing well-being. Lessons learned will inform content revision, the development of an app version of Step-by-Step, and the research methodology of upcoming effective…
Community cognitive interviewing to inform local adaptations of an e-mental health intervention in Lebanon
These findings promote and advocate the use of community-driven adaptation of evidence-based psychological interventions. Some of the phenomena recorded mirror findings from other research about barriers to care seeking in the region and so changes made to the intervention should be useful in improving utility and uptake of 'Step-by-Step
