Open Access•Wajid Ali, Cristina Brasili et al.•ARTICLE•European Planning Studies•2026

This study aims to investigate the relationship between regional economic growth and inter-regional inequality (measured using a multidimensional Euclidean Norm Index (ENI)) across Italian NUTS2 regions from 2000 to 2022. To capture structural differences across regions, regions were classified as predominantly urban, intermediate, or predominantly rural following the OECD typology. Open Access•Wajid Ali, Cristina Brasili et al.•ARTICLE•JCMS Journal of Common Market…•2025•References: 3

This study examines the impact of Cohesion Policy, and institutional quality, on regional economic performance across NUTS2 regions in 27 EU member states from 2007 to 2022. • Trends in dietary patterns and compliance with World Health Organization recommendations: A cross-country analysis

Open Access•Mario Mazzocchi, Cristina Brasili et al.•ARTICLE•Public Health Nutrition•2008

Objectives To investigate time patterns of compliance with nutrient goals recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). Design A single aggregated indicator of distance from the key WHO recommendations for a healthy diet is built using FAOSTAT intake data, bounded between 0 (maximum possible distance from goals) and 1 (perfect adherence). Two hypotheses are tested for different country groupings: (1) whether adherence has improved over time…

  • Regional differences in Chinese agriculture: Results from the 1997 First National Agricultural Census

Roberto Fanfani, Cristina Brasili•ARTICLE•The Journal of Peasant Studies•2003•Cited by: 3

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN CHINESE AGRICULTURE The development of the Chinese agricultural sector and its capability to increase agricultural production is gaining a greater importance for food security and food trade on a worldwide scale. Considering the size of China, this could influence international food prices, and thus determine major problems for food-importing developing countries. The People’s Republic of China (PRC) remains predominantly a…
