Sex Stereotypes and Leaders' Behavior as Measured by the Agreement Scale for Leadership Behavior
The development of a 20-item self-report measure based on stereotypic male and female leaders behaviors is described. Results of an experiment with 66 male and 66 female managers indicate a significant preference for behaviors which reflect the male stereotype by managers of both sexes
