  • The relationship between self-rated health and objective health status

Open Access•Shunquan Wu, Rui Wang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2013

SRH is consistent with objective health status and can serve as a global measure of health status in the general population

  • Excessive daytime sleepiness assessed by the Epworth Sleepiness Scale and its association with health related quality of life

Open Access•Shunquan Wu, Rui Wang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2012

The Mandarin version of ESS is an acceptable, reliable, and valid tool for measuring EDS. In addition, subjective EDS is common in China, based on the ESS results, and impairs HRQOL

  • Health related quality of life measured by SF-36

Open Access•Rui Wang, Cheng Wu et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2008

Overall, HRQL in the population of Shanghai is quite good. The Mandarin version of SF-36 is a valid and reliable tool for assessing HRQL

  • On fuzzy cliques in fuzzy networks

Xiaoyan Yan, Yan Xiaoyan•ARTICLE•Journal of Mathematical Sociology•1988•Cited by: 2•References: 4

A definition of fuzzy clique in social networks is suggested which overcomes five limitations of current definitions. This definition is based on the networks in which the 0–1 strengths, the weighted strengths, and fuzzy strengths are all allowed. The fuzzy distance in such a network is defined. The node‐clique and clique‐clique coefficients are suggested. The core and the periphery of fuzzy cliques are discussed formally. A “cone like” property …
