Unlocking Circular Economy Potentials: Testing the Moderating and Mediating Roles of Cultural Diversity, Technological Innovation, and Digitalization
Green finance (GF) has emerged as a key policy instrument for advancing the circular economy ( CE ), yet its impact varies considerably across OECD countries. Existing research has not sufficiently examined how institutional, technological, and cultural contexts shape this relationship. This paper addresses this gap by integrating multiple theoretical perspectives: neo‐institutional theory, green multi‐stakeholder theory, innovation diffusion the…
Ethics at the Edge of Extinction: Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) in the Conservation of the Northern White Rhino
Since assisted reproductive technologies (ART) are becoming increasingly important in wildlife conservation breeding programs, we need to discuss their implications to ensure their responsible use regarding the environment, the animals, and the people involved. In this article, we seek to contribute to the ongoing ethical and philosophical debate on ART in conservation by discussing the current attempt to save the northern white rhino ( Ceratothe…
Costs and Revenues Balance: The Case of Municipal Delegated Competences in Slovakia
Local authorities’ financial resources should be commensurate with the competences provided for by the law. The results show that the greatest electoral dissatisfaction occurs in regions dominated by agriculture and mining industries, particularly the former Sudetenland. Th…

Value of Collective Consumption Goods
The goal of this paper is to develop the theoretical framework of the public goods provision. This theoretic contribution is based on the critical analysis of mainstream economics theories dealing with public goods as market failure (neoclassical economics and neoliberalism) and on the results of own economic experiment examining the "free-riding" behaviour in the voluntary provision of public goods. The "free rider" problem is one of the main re…
