On human capital accumulation in times of epidemic
Sperner’s lemma and competitive equilibrium with incomplete financial markets
Do not Blame Bellman: It Is Koopmans' Fault
We provide a unified approach to stochastic dynamic programming with recursive utility based on an elementary application of Tarski's fixed point theorem. We establish that the exclusive source of multiple values is the presence of multiple recursive utilities consistent with the given aggregator, each yielding a legitimate value of the recursive program. We also present sufficient conditions ensuring a unique value of the recursive program in so…

Un essai sur l'économie vietnamienne depuis 1975
An essay on the Vietnamese economy since 1975. In this paper, we are attempting a description of the Vietnamese economy from 1975 to 1988. Broadly speaking, this falls into two periods, 1976-1980 and 1981-1985. The first is based upon a « voluntarist » policy which, coupled with the serious consequences of a prolonged war (30 years) brought about a noticeable drop in the standard of living of the inhabitants. The second period saw the introductio…
Stabilisation efficace des systèmes économiques en présence d'incertitude: Expérimentation avec une maquette du modèle DMS
[eng] The uncertaintf frontier as a global approach to the efficient stabilization of economic systems : An experimentation with the micro-DMS model Michel Deleau, Cuong Le Van, Pierre Malgrange The aim of the paper is to apply to a reduced version of the French planning DMS model, résulta related to the concept of « uncertainty frontier », global caracterisation of the stabilization possibilities of a System under uncertainty. It is shown that :…
