Moderator Variable Analysis of the Relationship between Self- and Peer-Trait Ratings
Correlations between self- and peer-trait ratings were examined as a function of three moderator variables: self-monitoring, self-rated cross-situational variability, and self-rated temporal stability. Data from 131 college undergraduates provided little support for the proposed moderators. Suggestions for future research are offered
