  • Current status and related factors of breakfast skipping among adolescents aged 12–15 years in Shandong Province, China

Open Access•Zhihao Huang, Qing Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2026

Breakfast skipping among adolescents in Shandong Province may be influenced by gender, parental behaviors, living arrangements, and physical activity levels. These findings highlight the need for family-centered and gender-sensitive interventions that promote regular breakfast consumption and active lifestyles in youth. Future studies should adopt longitudinal designs to better understand causal relationships

  • P300 event-related potentials as diagnostic biomarkers for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children

Open Access•Chuanxue Tan, Huimin Zhou et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2025

Cz and Pz amplitude, maximum reaction time, and correct responses each demonstrated strong diagnostic utility for distinguishing ADHD from typically developing children. The use of these neurophysiological and behavioral indicators as objective complements to traditional clinical assessments

  • ‘The Seasons’

Chunyang Li, Ziliang Guo et al.•ARTICLE•Critical Survey•2024

The art of landscape painting involves a coherent chain of development and transformation between individual self-awareness and the construction of a scholar's emotions. These paintings directly explore personal consciousness and expressing personal emotions. The main themes depicted in seasonal landscape paintings are seclusion and travel. The relationship between scholars’ self-awareness, landscape painting portrayal and the emergence of litera…

  • Significant improvements in the olfactory sensitivity of bipolar I disorder patients during euthymia versus manic episodes

Open Access•Xianlin Liu, Langjun Su et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2024

The findings suggest that OS and OI are impaired in BDM patients, and the impaired OS in those patients can be recovered in the remission stage. OI may serve as a potential characteristic marker of BD. OS might be useful as an index for BDM treatment efficacy and prognosis

  • Impaired olfactory function in bipolar disorder patients during acute episodes regardless of psychotic symptoms

Open Access•Yingying Li, Huiqian Yuan et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2023

The results indicate that patients with episodic BD have impaired OS and OI, regardless of psychotic symptoms. OI may be a characteristic marker of BD, and OS may be a state marker that can be used to distinguish between episodic and euthymic BD

  • Variations in olfactory function among bipolar disorder patients with different episodes and subtypes

Open Access•Chunyang Li, Liu Hong et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2023

This may be the first study to compare olfactory function in patients with BD I vs. BD II via pairwise comparisons. Our findings suggest that OS may have potential as a biomarker for distinguishing the different subtypes of BD and as a state-related biomarker for differentiating the acute phase from the euthymic state of BD. However, further prospective research is warranted

  • Predicting Survival in Veterans with Follicular Lymphoma Using Structured Electronic Health Record Information and Machine Learning

Open Access•Chunyang Li, Vikas Patil et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2021

The most accurate prognostic approach for follicular lymphoma (FL), progression of disease at 24 months (POD24), requires two years' observation after initiating first-line therapy (L1) to predict outcomes. We applied machine learning to structured electronic health record (EHR) data to predict individual survival at L1 initiation. We grouped 523 observations and 1933 variables from a nationwide cohort of FL patients diagnosed 2006-2014 in the Ve…

    Open Access•Xinyu Yang, Xin-Yu Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2010
