Mapping online patient reviews onto a data-informed service-experience framework
Background Online patient reviews may provide patient-generated textual feedback on hospital service experience and may complement formal patient-reported experience measures (PREMs), but evidence from ordinary Chinese prefecture-level cities remains limited. This study examined whether online patient reviews could be systematically mapped onto a data-informed service-experience framework in tertiary hospitals in Wuxi, China. Methods We conducted…
Multimodal neuroimaging alterations in schizophrenia model rats and the modulatory effects of risperidone
Background The hippocampus is considered to be closely associated with the emergence of negative symptoms and cognitive impairments in schizophrenia (SCH). A single imaging modality is insufficient to capture the comprehensive structural, functional, and metabolic alterations in the hippocampus. This study employed multimodal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to investigate changes in hippocampal volume, white matter integrity, and metabolite leve…
Prevention and control of schistosomiasis in the Philippines from a health education perspective
Schistosomiasis, second only to malaria, poses a significant threat to many regions worldwide, particularly tropical and subtropical areas. The Philippines, located in a tropical region, has long suffered from the serious public health hazards of schistosomiasis. We recognize that, besides direct snail control and mass drug administration, education plays a crucial role, either directly or indirectly, in the prevention and control of schistosomia…
The double-edged sword effect of crisis event strengths on employee proactivity
Exploratory MIA study
Offspring rats exposed to maternal Poly(I:C) during pregnancy exhibited abnormalities across multiple domains, including brain structure, white matter microstructure, cerebral perfusion, and metabolism. This study provides additional evidence that maternal inflammation during pregnancy can interfere with offspring brain development and impair neurological function
Maternal immune activation induces sex-dependent behavioral differences in a rat model of schizophrenia
Our results showed that the behavioral phenotypes induced by prenatal immune activation were highly dependent on the sex of the offspring
Solar energy harvesting from the photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) pavement
Identity embarrassment and identity defense
Loss context enhances preferences for generosity but reduces preferences for honesty
The current literature has revealed mixed evidence on whether loss (vs. gain) context promotes or curtails human prosociality. The current study (N=96) aimed to address this issue by examining whether gain/loss context has distinct effects on different prosocial preferences combining computational modelling with Dictator Game and Message Game. These interactive games allow for dissociating preferences for generosity and honesty, which have been r…
Job Crafting and Nurses' Presenteeism
Background: Presenteeism is defined as the behavior of people who insist on attending work despite complaints of ill health that should prompt rest and absence from work. Due to the heavy workloads and irreplaceable duties of the nursing service, nurses are a typical representative group suffering from presenteeism. Although more scholars have recently begun focusing on presenteeism, an abundant number of studies have tended to focus on presentee…
Inhibition Effect of Ionic Liquid [Hmim]Cl on Microcystis Growth and Toxin Production
Ionic liquids (ILs) are known as "green solvents" and widely used in industrial applications. However, little research has been conducted on cyanobacteria. This study was conducted to investigate the toxicity of ionic liquids ([Hmim]Cl) on Microcystis aeruginosa PCC7806. The EC 50 (72 h) of [Hmim]Cl on the growth of Microcystis aeruginosa PCC 7806 was 10.624 ± 0.221 mg L -1 . The possible mechanism of toxicity of [Hmim]Cl against M. aeruginosa PC…
Spatio-Temporal Characteristics of the Supply and Demand Coupling Coordination of Elderly Care Service Resources in China
The current situation and future development of the supply and demand coupling coordination of elderly care service resources reflect the level of elderly care service resource allocation. Whether factors affecting its development can be found is the key to promote the accurate allocation of elderly care service. Based on the coupling coordination model, the supply and demand of elderly care service resources, the development circumstance and the…

Assessing Emergency Shelter Demand Using POI Data and Evacuation Simulation
Mapping the fine-scale spatial distribution of emergency shelter demand is crucial for shelter planning during disasters. To provide shelter for people within a reasonable evacuation distance under day and night disaster scenarios, we formed an approach for examining the distribution of day and night shelter demand at the plot-scale using point of interest (POI) data, and then analyzed the supply and demand status of shelters after an evacuation …
Bu-Fei Yi-Shen granule combined with acupoint sticking therapy in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Bu-Fei Yi-Shen granule combined with acupoint sticking therapy showed beneficial effects for patients with stable COPD in the measured parameters over the 4-month treatment period and 6 months follow-up, with no relevant between-group differences in adverse events
