Conflicting Cultural Pressures and the Adjustment of Latino College Students
The risk and protective variables for Latino students’ experience of depression, college adjustment, and drop-out intentions were examined. We explored direct, mediated, and moderated associations between adult attachment style and marital satisfaction using a community‐based sample of 73 married women. The present investigation examined the impact of custody arrangements on levels of parent-child involvement following divorce drawing upon data from the National Survey of Families and Households. Analyses using 186 custodial mothers and 31 custodial fathers indicated that differences in the number of days of custody that parents were awarded were not related to levels of parent-child involvement. This study investigated how teaching assistants' relationships with their supervising instructors affect their ratings of role satisfaction and effectiveness.
