Impact of changing conditions and scenario on health and social life of elderly women of urban Punjab
The paper reports on the impact of changing conditions and scenario on health and social life of elderly women as viewed by 120 elderly female respondents from 6 cities of urban Punjab, taking into account both positive and negative side of these changes on their health and social life. Health Modernity Among Rural Women of Himachal Pradesh
One hundered and eighty rural women responded to the questionnaire having 40 items on health modernity with 5 points standardised scale. The subjects were grouped into three categories based upon size of operational and holdings. The results revealed considerable degree of fatalism about health matters.
