    In the autumn of 2019, a stone structure was uncovered in Buszków Dolny, located within Żychlin commune, Kutno county. Excavations were carried out on the 8th and 9th of November, 2019. The central feature of the site was a large, elongated glacial erratic, surrounded by smaller stones forming an enclosure.     The Lusatian culture burial ground at Dąbrowa, Wieluń district, lies in the upper Warta River basin. Due to its location in the south-western part of central Poland, it accumulated imports from the Halstatt zone (bronze serpentine clasp, iron and bronze spearheads). This was evident in the inventories of two early Iron Age graves. Local artefacts were also discovered in the cemetery, which were imitations of imports (bronze clasps). This was demo…

    During excavations carried out in 2023 at the cemetery of the Lusatian culture in Dąbrowa, site 2, Wieluń County, an urnless cremation burial was discovered (Object 24), which is dated generally to the Hallstatt period. Burnt human bones were scattered throughout the object, which form a relatively compact cluster in the central part of the grave.     In the autumn of 2017 in Niewierszyn in the Aleksandrów commune, a deposit of two bronze bracelets was discovered. The discovery site was on the edge of the Pilica floodplain terrace.The bracelets were almost identical in size and ornamentation. Also, the chemical composition of the bronze from which they were made was very similar. It may be hypothesised that the ornaments were made by the same manufacturer, probably at a similar time.
