  • Measuring Frailty Using Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) Data

    Open Access•Meena N Murugappan, Bellinda L King‐Kallimani et al.•ARTICLE•Quality of Life Research•2023

  • FDA review summary of patient-reported outcome results for ibrutinib in the treatment of chronic graft versus host disease

    Open Access•Bellinda L King‐Kallimani, Bellinda L King-Kallimanis et al.•ARTICLE•Quality of Life Research•2020

  • Psychometric evaluation of the Casp-19 quality of life scale in an older Irish cohort

    Open Access•Eithne Sexton, Bellinda L King‐Kallimani et al.•ARTICLE•Quality of Life Research•2013

  • Measurement bias of the SF-36 Health Survey in older adults with chronic conditions

    Open Access•Hongdao Meng, Bellinda L King‐Kallimani et al.•ARTICLE•Quality of Life Research•2013

  • Using structural equation modeling to detect response shift in performance and health-related quality of life scores of multiple sclerosis patients

    Open Access•Bellinda L King‐Kallimani, Bellinda L King-Kallimanis et al.•ARTICLE•Quality of Life Research•2011

While small response shifts were found, they had little impact on the evaluation of true change in performance and HRQoL

  • Assessing measurement invariance of a health-related quality-of-life questionnaire in radiotherapy patients

    Open Access•Bellinda L King‐Kallimani, Bellinda L King-Kallimanis et al.•ARTICLE•Quality of Life Research•2011

In the present study, accounting for measurement bias lead to a substantial improvement in the overall fit of the model. By ignoring the bias, we would have concluded that the model fit was unsatisfactory. The findings underline the importance of investigating measurement invariance in scales designed for heterogeneous samples

  • Trading Years for Perfect Health

    Open Access•L Ayalon, Bellinda L King‐Kallimani et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Aging and Health•2010•Cited by: 5•References: 2

There is wide variability in responses to the time trade-off task that is partially associated with self-rated health, gender, ethnicity, and education

  • Screening and Brief Intervention for Substance Misuse Among Older Adults

    Open Access•Lawrence Schonfeld, Bellinda L King‐Kallimani et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Public Health•2010•Cited by: 3•References: 11

Objectives. We developed and examined the effectiveness of the Florida Brief Intervention and Treatment for Elders (BRITE) project, a 3-year, state-funded pilot program of screening and brief intervention for older adult substance misusers. Methods. Agencies in 4 counties conducted screenings among 3497 older adults for alcohol, medications, and illicit substance misuse problems and for depression and suicide risk. Screening occurred in elders' h…
