Five years after the Three Mile Island nuclear accident, the mental health of women who had been pregnant and living within 10 miles of Three Mile Island at the time of the accident was similar to that of women from the same area who became pregnant after the accident. Utilization of medical care following the Three Mile Island crisis
Four studies are reported on how utilization of primary health care was affected by the Three Mile Island (TMI) crisis and subsequent distress experienced by persons living in the vicinity of the plant. Hospital and related characteristics associated with perinatal mortality
Studying perinatal mortality an investigation was made to determine which, if any, characteristics of hospitals are related to fetal and/or neonatal death rates for infants delivered in them, to examine various attributes of mother and infant, as well as other factors, and to see how they are related to each other and how they influence perinatal mortality.
