Exposure to tobacco advertisements or promotions and smoking susceptibility among adolescents in China from 2013–14 to 2021
Students had decreasing exposure to TAPs, but exposure remained high, especially at POS and TV/movies. Non-smokers had low smoking susceptibility, and this decreased over time. Exposure to TAPs was positively associated with smoking susceptibility, especially in younger students. Exposure to TAPs also reduced the benefits of anti-tobacco messages
Evaluation of compliance with smoke-free regulations in a multi-ethnic city in Western China
The study provided empirical data on the compliance with local smoke-free regulations in Xining and identified a room for improvement. Efforts should be made to raise public awareness of smoke-free regulations and strengthen regulations' enforcement and supervision

The preference for sons transcends many cultures, making it an issue with local and global dimensions. This article explores if and how married women’s preferences in relation to their children are influenced by a shift in their economic status. Our results show that female employment had a significant effect on son preference. Our findings call for improved public health care via the refinement of policy and effective measures for disease prevention. Exposure to tobacco advertisements or promotions and smoking susceptibility among adolescents in China from 2013–14 to 2021
Students had decreasing exposure to TAPs, but exposure remained high, especially at POS and TV/movies. Non-smokers had low smoking susceptibility, and this decreased over time.
