Is This the Right Elementary School for My Gender Nonconforming Child
This article describes what followed after a mother wondered if the school in her neighborhood was the right elementary school for her gender nonconforming young child. Biracial lesbian and bisexual women experience interrelated aspects of multiple identities throughout their lives. This interplay of gender (female), race/ethnicity (biracial), and sexual identity (lesbian and bisexual) offers insight into the complexities of ingroup/outgroup status, multiple community membership, and visible/nonvisible identification. An Applied Collaborative Training Program for Graduate Students in Community Psychology
The following case study offers a detailed description of a university–organization partnership, the basis for a collaborative outreach training program between community psychology graduate students and a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth center. Young Sexual Minority Women's Perceptions of Cross-Generational Friendships with Older Lesbians
Perspectives on cross-generational friendships with older lesbians were explored using informal group interviews with two groups of young sexual minority women (N = 16), ages 15 to 25.
