  • Educational Measurement with Emerging Technologies

    Open Access•Linwei Yu, Gary K W Wong et al.•ARTICLE•Education Sciences•2026

Emerging technologies (ETs), such as AI and reality techniques, are reshaping educational measurement. However, existing studies remain dispersed and are rarely synthesized in ways that clarify how ETs participate in the evidentiary work of educational measurement. Guided by PRISMA 2020, we systematically reviewed 933 empirical studies published between 2016 and 2025 in formal educational settings. We coded studies by (a) grain size (micro, meso,…

  • Emotion concepts and facial movements facilitate emotion perception

  • The impact of education on health transitions, life expectancy, and healthy life expectancy among older adults in China

Open Access•Na Cao, Linwei Yu et al.•ARTICLE•Humanities and Social Sciences…•2026

This paper aims to explore the impact of education on health transitions, Life Expectancy (LE), and Healthy Life Expectancy (HLE) among older adults in China. Data from the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey were utilized. Multi-state Markov models with continuous time were employed to estimate how education impacts health transitions, HLE, LE and the ratio of HLE to LE (HLE/LE). Individuals with no schooling were significantly more li…

  • Network analysis of comorbid depression and anxiety and their associations with friendship among adolescents

Open Access•Jiabin Liu, Qinran Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Current Psychology•2024

  • Bidirectional and dynamic relationships between social isolation and activities of daily living among older adults in China

Open Access•Chaoping Pan, Linwei Yu•ARTICLE•Journal of Global Health•2024

Background: Social isolation and disability in performing activities of daily living are increasingly recognised as significant public health concerns globally. We aimed to investigate their bidirectional associations and the related temporal dynamics in Chinese older adults. Methods: We retrieved data from the six waves of the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (2002-18) and used generalised cross-lagged modelling (GCLM) to assess the…

  • Influence of group information on facial expression recognition

Weihan Wang, Feizhen CAO et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2024

  • Creativity Profiles and the Role of Interpersonal Relationships in Primary School Pupils

Open Access•Jiabin Liu, Linwei Yu et al.•ARTICLE•The Journal of Creative Behavior•2023

This study aimed to investigate the heterogeneity of creativity and the role of interpersonal relationships for creativity subgroups among primary school students. We used latent profile analysis to identify subgroups of creativity among pupils. We then used logistic regression analysis to investigate the role of teacher‐student and peer relationships in these subgroups. A total of 1,047 primary school students ( M age = 10.97, SD = 0.91; 47.80% …

  • School bullying and its risk and protective factors in Chinese early adolescents

    Open Access•Linwei Yu, Xiaoqing Li et al.•ARTICLE•Aggressive Behavior•2023•Cited by: 3•References: 91

Bullying perpetration and victimization are common and problematic occurrences during adolescence. Typically, bullying incidents involve different bullying roles. However, little is known about the developmental stability and changes in these roles. In the present study, we aimed to assess the stability and changes in bullying roles and examine risk and protective factors associated with bullying involvement. A total of 1711 Chinese early adolesc…

  • Health literacy and health outcomes in China’s floating population

    Open Access•Hai-YanYu Hai-YanYu, Wei-ling Wu et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2021

Complete health literacy, through health care literacy and health promotion literacy, affects the mobile population's initiative to use health services, which, in turn, affects health outcomes. Thus, improving the health literacy of the floating population will help to improve health outcomes. Furthermore, health service providers should enhance the diversity of health service supply to ensure that the floating population has the external resourc…
