  • Linguistics of Vietnamese

Daniel P Hole, Daniel Hole et al.•BOOK•Linguistics of Vietnamese•2013

The present collection of articles grew out of a workshop on Vietnamese linguistics in 2009 at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. To our knowledge, no workshop with a comparable scope has been held outside of Vietnam for the past 20 years, or even longer. Given the important typological status of Vietnamese as a paradigm case of an isolating language, the volume covers the most relevant fields in linguistics: syntax, semantics, phonology, and …

  • Copular Verbs and Argument Structure

    Elisabeth Lobel•ARTICLE•Theoretical Linguistics•2000

Elisabeth Lobel, Gisa Rauh•BOOK•Lexikalische Kategorien und…•1997

The volume contains a selection of papers given at a workshop organized in 1994 on major lexical categories. The seven articles in this volume take a variety of viewpoints concerning problems of distinguishing major categories in general, as well as problems in connection with specific categories, namely nouns, verbs, prepositions, and conjunctions.

  • Kp/Dp-Syntax

    Elisabeth Lobel•ARTICLE•Theoretical Linguistics•1994
