    Throughout the text, I use the artist’s maiden name Taeuber rather than her married name Taeuber-Arp to reflect the way in which she signed her works during the period under discussion, which preceded her marriage to Hans/Jean Arp in 1922. It was a dance full of flashes and fishbones, of dazzling lights, a dance of penetrating intensity.     Our findings highlight the need for gender-oriented actions for prevention and early diagnosis of the diabetes to contrast the higher risk in Northern Africans and Southern Asians. Further studies are required to determine whether the protocols in use are adequate for different immigrant groups
