Bu çalışmada, 13. yüzyıl Anadolu Selçuklu dönemi kadın banilerinden Mahperi Huand Hatun ve yaptırmış olduğu eserler, onun Hristiyan kimliği üzerinden ele alınmıştır. Sultan Alâeddin Keykubad’ın üç eşinden birisi ve Sultan II. Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev’in annesi olan Mahperi Huand Hatun’un etnik kökeni tartışmalıdır. Bu çalışmada, Kitab-ı Mukaddes’te adı geçen ve kitabı dört büyük peygamberden birisi olan Yeşeya peygamberin, Bizans dönemi resimli dinî el yazmalarındaki tasvirleri çalışılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında, Yeşeya peygamberin tasvirleri gruplama yapılarak değerlendirilmiştir.
