This article deals with a Danish English-language reading proficiency test. It is dubbed 'Sprogtest' which means 'language test'. Since English textbooks are used extensively in Denmark, the test is offered to freshman students in order to diagnose weaknesses which may impede the undergraduates' academic careers.
