Dual‐Factor Mental Health Profiles in Adolescents
We investigated dual‐factor mental health (DFMH) profiles with a sample of largely non‐Hispanic White (55.4%) and Hispanic (31.3%) adolescent students in grades 9–12 ( N = 1,064). DFMH profiles were defined by three indicators: school‐specific subjective well‐being, broad internalizing problems, and broad externalizing problems. First, we used latent profile analysis (LPA) to identify an optimal DFMH profile model based on empirical and theoretic…

Technical Analysis of the Disruptive Behavior Rating Scale—Second Edition—Teacher Version
The reliability and validity of scores on the Disruptive Behavior Rating Scale—second edition— teacher version (DBRS-II-T) was analyzed. The DBRS-II-T was designed to assess teacher observations of students referred for behavioral difficulties. The five-factor model fit the data poorly, but convergent and diagnostic validities were excellent

The present study was intended to examine the impact of smiling on judgements of physical attractiveness and other characteristics stereotypically ascribed to attractive persons. Consistent with predictions, it was found that smiling increased rated attractiveness when compared to a non‐smiling n…
