This article offers a systematic, cross-disciplinary review of empirical research on digital populism published between 2015 and early 2025. Analysing 188 studies from political communication, media studies and political science, we map how platform affordances structure populist communi…
The predictors of Māori electoral roll choice and knowledge
Every five years and when initially enrolling to vote, Māori have the choice between the Māori roll or the general roll. Research has explored the predictors of roll choice for older adults, but this paper presents the first exploration of roll choice for rangatahi Māori (Māori youth; aged 13–18), and the predictors of rangatahi not understanding the difference between rolls. We draw on Māori data ( n = 1528) from Youth19 which surveyed students …
Postprandial glycine as a biomarker of satiety
This study aimed to identify biomarkers of appetite response, modelled using a dose-rising whey protein preload intervention. Female participants (n = 24) with body mass index (BMI) between 23 and 40 kg/m2 consumed preload beverages (0 g protein water control, WC; 12.5 g low-dose protein, LP; or 50.0 g high-dose protein, HP) after an overnight fast, in a randomised cross over design. Repeated venous blood samples were collected to measure plasma …

Embedding effective parent training programmes for the treatment of childhood conduct problems into routine clinical practice does not happen spontaneously. Despite the known influence of contextual factors on implementation success, and the centrality of the therapist as a key implementation stakeholder, studies into the therapist experience of receiving training in, and implementing evidence-based manualised parent training programmes are relat…
