  • Is it personal emotion or immersive atmosphere? An analysis of the components of tourist satisfaction at theme parks today

    Open Access•Bo Han, Jitong Song•ARTICLE•Social Sciences & Humanities Open•2025

As the theme park industry continues to develop, parks are facing challenges such as increasing tourist expectations and the efficiency improvement. It is of great significance to correctly measure the factors affecting tourist satisfaction, such as their personality and the external environment, as those factors are closely related to services improving and the sustainable development of theme parks. This study aims to reveal the factors influen…

  • Stakeholder‐Driven Spatial Targeting for Cultivated Land Consolidation

Open Access•Rui Sun, Xiaobin Jin et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2025

Over the past four decades, China has invested $298 billion in cultivated land consolidation (CLC), significantly boosting agricultural production, and food security despite rapid urbanization and cultivated land loss. However, the absence of a quantitative, spatially explicit evaluation of CLC potential that integrates local stakeholder perspectives from farmers, community, and decision‐makers has hindered the effectiveness and efficiency of CLC…

  • Human-AI cooperation makes individuals more risk seeking

Xiaowei Geng, Chao Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2025

  • The global burden of stomach cancer and its risk factors from 1990 to 2021

Open Access•Le Zhou, Bo Han et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

This study found that although the ASIR and ASDR of stomach cancer have significantly declined, the absolute number of cases has continued to rise due to the continuous growth and aging of the population. In high SDI (socio-demographic index) regions, such as Western Europe and North America, the burden of stomach cancer has decreased. The high burden in low SDI regions needs to be alleviated through targeted interventions such as smoking control…

  • Association between viral hepatitis and depressive symptoms

Open Access•Guangli Yang, Siyuan Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Viral hepatitis was independently associated with depressive symptoms, and this relationship was driven primarily by active infection. As causality cannot be inferred from cross-sectional data, longitudinal studies are warranted

  • Teacher support and academic achievement among Chinese middle school students

Open Access•Bo Han, Yili Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Social Behavior and Personality…•2025

Despite the ability of teacher support to improve students’ development and achievement, contemporary education practices in China tend to follow traditional Chinese teaching philosophy’s emphasis on discipline instead. This study examined the mediating effect of attachment to school and the moderating effect of parental involvement on the relationship between teacher support and academic achievement in the Chinese context. We used convenience sa…

  • Evaluating deep learning techniques for identifying tongue features in subthreshold depression

Open Access•Bo Han, Yue Chang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2024

The findings suggest that the SEResNet101 model is highly accurate and reliable for identifying tongue image features in subthreshold depression. It also appears promising for assessing the impact of acupuncture treatment. This study contributes novel insights and approaches to the auxiliary diagnosis and treatment evaluation of subthreshold depression

As Millennials who possess different sets of workplace values and beliefs are entering the workforce, there is a need for conceptualizing OCB and developing an OCB scale suitable for Millennials. In this study, we conceptualize OCB in Millennials as voluntary behaviors that pro…
