Response of Thermal Environment to Landscape Pattern and Land Use/Land Cover with Multi-Factorial Drive during Summer and Winter Seasons in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration
Associations between perceived stress and emotional symptoms in youth with major depressive disorder
What influences the differences in multifunctionality among different cropland landscape types? — Evidence from a major grain-producing region, China
Mechanism of Ershen Zhenwu Decoction in treating chronic heart failure by regulating PTEN-induced putative kinase 1/Parkin pathway mediated mitophagy
How does digital transformation promote residents' consumption upgrading? - Evidence from China's supply and demand restructuring
Exploring the cooling intensity of green cover on urban heat island
Investigating the quantitative impact of the vegetation indices on the urban thermal comfort based on machine learning
Apply 14 multidimensional vegetation indices for TC analysis. • Advanced machine learning algorithms (RFR, SHAP) improve prediction accuracy. • Dynamic analysis of vegetation indices and TC over time reveals long-term trends. • Refines the impact of vegetation indices within urban functional areas for planning purposes. Rapid urbanization and economic development in China have reshaped land cover and impacted urban Thermal Comfort (TC). This stud…
Does collaborative governance of natural disasters in urban agglomerations enhance urban resilience? Evidence from China
Machine learning in modelling the urban thermal field variance index and assessing the impacts of urban land expansion on seasonal thermal environment
Land use practices in urban areas exert a profound influence on the urban thermal environment and the pursuit of sustainable development. This paper aims to investigate and forecast future changes in land use/land cover (LULC) and their response to seasonal variations in land surface temperatures (LST), the urban thermal field variance index (UTFVI), and the urban heat island effect (UHI). The artificial neural network based on cellular automata …
Tracking the impact of the land cover change on the spatial-temporal distribution of the thermal comfort
Impact of seasonal global land surface temperature (LST) change on gross primary production (GPP) in the early 21st century
Assessing the impact of fractional vegetation cover on urban thermal environment
The Industrial Sprawl in China from 2010 to 2019
Studying the spatial-temporal distribution industrial sprawl in China is important to solve industrial sprawl problems and promote urban sustainable development. This paper constructed a multi-level spatial analysis of the Chinese industrial sprawl during 2010-2019 by mainly using urban scaling law, supplemented by GIS methods. Results showed that: (1) China had obvious industrial sprawl with a growth rate of 31.79%, reaching 2762.37 km 2 between…
Spatio-Temporal Evolution and Driving Factors of Rural Settlements in Low Hilly Region—A Case Study of 17 Cities in Hubei Province, China
With the rapid development of the social economy, factors of social and economic development in China's rural areas have been continuously reorganized, and the pattern and distribution of rural residential areas have undergone significant changes. In rural areas, there have been many peculiar phenomena of "reducing people but not reducing land in rural areas, which has caused tremendous pressure on land resource protection. We used geographic det…
Analysis of the Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Urban Resilience and Its Influencing Factors
The healthy development of the city has received widespread attention in the world, and urban resilience is an important issue in the study of urban development. In order to better provide a useful reference for urban resilience and urban health development, this paper takes 56 cities in China as the research object, and selects 29 indicators from urban infrastructure, economy, ecology and society. The combination weight method, exploratory spati…
