  • Ke-MLS

Open Access•Vaibhav Kumar, Bharat Lohani et al.•ARTICLE•Environment and Planning B Urban…•2026

Labeled Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS) data are increasingly in demand for applications such as urban planning and autonomous driving. However, there is a severe shortage of manually labeled, high-fidelity MLS datasets, especially from developing countries like India. Deep learning models trained on less complex environments often fail to generalize to Indian scenarios, hindering the development of robust applications. To address this gap, we introd…

  • Mapping Oral Health and Tobacco Risk Profiles Among Incarcerated Populations in a Central Prison of Navi Mumbai Using a Novel TRACE Framework—A Cross-Sectional Study

Open Access•Kavita Pol, Vaibhav Kumar et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2025

These findings underscore the need for targeted interventions, such as in-house tobacco cessation programs and oral health services, in correctional facilities. Integrating cessation counseling into prison healthcare policies could improve outcomes among incarcerated populations

  • Advancing Gender-Equitable, Affirmative and Integrated Dentistry in India

    Open Access•Vaibhav Kumar, D N Shanbhag et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2025

While Indian OHPs displayed generally supportive attitudes toward transgender individuals, substantial gaps persist in structural inclusivity, clinical preparedness, and knowledge. Bridging these gaps requires systemic reforms in dental education, policy, and practice environments. The OHP-GSIP © tool provides a benchmark for guiding curricular integration, institutional inclusivity, and policy advocacy toward equitable, gender-affirming oral hea…

  • Pediatric Dental Fluorosis and Its Correlation with Dental Caries and Oral-Health-Related Quality of Life

Open Access•Vaibhav Kumar, Ridhima Gaunkar et al.•ARTICLE•Children•2023

The study shows a negligible amount of prevalence of dental fluorosis in the non-endemic fluorosis residential district. It also elucidates that children from lower and lower-middle socioeconomic status are more prone to suffer from dental fluorosis as compared to other groups. The mean score of ECOHIS increased proportionally with the caries experience, indicating a significant relationship between the dmft and ECOHIS score. Deciduous dentition …

  • Long‐term impact of organic and inorganic fertilizers on soil organic carbon dynamics in a rice‐ wheat system

Open Access•Debashis Dutta, Vinod K Singh et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2022

Deep soil carbon (C) plays an important role in the global carbon cycle because it is more recalcitrant and remains in the soil for a longer period. Yet, very few studies have reported the impact of long‐term fertilization on soil organic carbon (SOC) dynamics in deep soil in a rice‐wheat system (RWS). Hence, the objectives of this study were to evaluate the long‐term fertilization impact on carbon sequestration and C pools in RWS in the Indo‐Gan…
