  • De la fin du Campaniforme à l’aube du Bronze moyen dans la basse vallée de Marne

Paul Brunet, Christian Charamond et al.•ARTICLE•Bulletin de la Société…•2009

The collation of information from Early Bronze Age domestic and mortuary contexts in an area 60 kilometres long in the downstream Marne valley, east of Paris, has made it possible to flesh out the hitherto thin research literature. Recent developments such as the excavation of increasingly large surfaces, the characterisation of regional series and the considerable amount of information gained through preventive archaeology have made it possible …

  • Données préliminaires sur la Préhistoire Holocène à Maisons-Alfort (Val-de-Marne)

Gilles Durbet, Sylvie Rimbault et al.•ARTICLE•Bulletin de la Société…•1998•Cited by: 1•References: 1

Preventive excavations carried out at Maisons-Alfort, Z.A.C. d'Alfort I (France), disclosed several Pleistocene and Holocene occupation levels. The Chassey enclosure fills up a blank between Bassée and Oise. The Late Bronze Age level contributes to the analysis of relations between the Northern-Alpine and Atlantic complexes of the Late Bronze Age lib - Ilia. The interest of the Seine and Marne confluence has been confirmed by the recent discovery…

  • Caractérisation technologique et interprétation dynamique d'une concentration lithique moustérienne, Champ-Paillard (Deux-Sèvres), Locus 1, amas A

    Gilles Durbet•ARTICLE•Bulletin de la Société…•1993

The Mousterian technocomplex of the group of lower and middle Palaeolithic sites at Champ-Paillard (Deux-Sèvres, France) shows a non random organisation of the lithic remains. A comparison of the technological composition of an isolated flint cluster with a structured one obtained by experimental knapping indicates distortions of anthropogenic origin. Although all the characteristics of on site débitage are present, the lack on refittings shows t…
