Environmental management for alpine tourism and resorts in Australia.
Drawing on fieldwork from Australia, this chapter explores the impacts of both summer and winter recreation on mountain environments, and of climate change on tourism. An analysis of environmental impact studies on mountain resorts in Australia it is confirmed that tourism has major implications for land management in mountain regions.
