  • Short-term effects of ambient air pollution on musculoskeletal diseases in Yangzhou during 2019–2022

Open Access•Hu Zhang, Bing Wang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Our findings indicated that short-term exposure to ambient air pollutants may elevate the risk of MDs, with particular attention warranted to the health impacts of SO 2 and O 3 emissions in urban areas. In addition, the heavy metals in PM 2.5 exerted negative relationship with the risks of MDs, which provided the new sights of the protective role of heavy metals against bone disease

  • A comprehensive framework for evaluating ecosystem quality changes and human activity contributions in Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, China

Open Access•Faisal Mumtaz, Jing Li et al.•ARTICLE•Land Use Policy•2025•References: 120

  • China’s law and policy framework for maritime safety regulation of alternative fuel ships in the decarbonization transition

Open Access•Qiuwen Wang, Hu Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Marine Policy•2024

  • Joint Deep Learning for Covariate Decomposition and Treatment Effect Estimation

Hanlei Shen, Hu Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Structural Equation Modeling: A…•2023

This study proposes a joint deep learning method, namely, confounding factor joint decomposition under counterfactual regression (CFJD-CFR), to identify a minimum adjustment covariate set and estimate the average treatment effect (ATE). CFJD-CFR includes two levels: feature learning and prediction model. Feature learning constructs the objective function based on clear variable attribute recognition criteria to identify and decompose a covariate …

  • Automatic short answer grading by encoding student responses via a graph convolutional network

Hongye Tan, Chong Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Interactive Learning Environments•2023

Automatic short answer grading (ASAG) is a challenging task that aims to predict a score for a given student response. Previous works on ASAG mainly use nonneural or neural methods. However, the former depends on handcrafted features and is limited by its inflexibility and high cost, and the latter ignores global word cooccurrence in a corpus and global interaction among the samples in datasets. However, ASAG requires this global information to l…

  • Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Surgical Treatments in Patients With Pure Cervical Radiculopathy

Open Access•Quan-You Gao, Fei-Long Wei et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2022

Background Traditionally paired meta-analysis revealed inconsistencies in the safety and effectiveness of surgical interventions. We conducted a network meta-analysis to assess various treatments' clinical efficacy and safety for pure cervical radiculopathy. Methods The Embase, PubMed, and Cochrane Library databases were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing different treatment options for patients with pure cervical radiculo…

  • Research on Postgraduate Innovative Ability Training of Ternary Transformation, Triple Fusion and Third Order

Open Access•Jing Chen, Ying Guo et al.•ARTICLE•Advances in Applied Sociology•2022

The postgraduate practice innovation system has still some problems with innovative content, mentor guidance and innovation methods. This paper proposes a postgraduate innovation ability training system, named Ternary transformation and Triple fusion and third order with the goal of enhancing the ability of research, practice and innovation to cultivate high-level applied professionals under the background of science and education integration. Th…

  • Challenges and Approaches of the Global Governance of Public Health Under Covid-19

Open Access•Hu Zhang, Zhang Hu•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2021

Public health events, as the common concern faced by the international community, call for the joint response from all mankind. The outbreak of the COVID-19 has highlighted the problems confronting the global governance of international public health, such as limited functions of international organizations and difficulties in achieving objectives, poor collaboration between governance subjects and their limited performance, overlapping legal bas…

  • Innovation Ability Cultivation of Graduate Students of Computer Science and Technology under the Background of Science and Education Integration

Open Access•Jing Chen, Meihong Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Advances in Applied Sociology•2021

Innovation based on science and technology is one of the important national strategies. This paper analyzes the problems of the current graduate students of computer science and technology in China, and proposes a new mode of the cultivation of graduate students’ innovation ability under the background of science and education integration, including the mode of diversified cultivation, gradient and hierarchical training plan and the multiple ways…
