  • Construction of a multifactorial prediction model for healthcare workers’ work ability: Focusing on the interaction and impact pathways of job burnout and sleep disorder

Open Access•Ni Wang, Liang Shang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Objective To explore the latent profiles, core associated factors, and complex mechanisms of work ability among healthcare workers in large tertiary hospitals in China. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted from July to October 2025. A convenience sample of 1,590 healthcare workers from a large tertiary hospital in Shaanxi Province was assessed using the Work Ability Index (WAI), the Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS), and …

  • Plateau Pika ( Ochotona curzoniae ) Disturbance Alters Soil‐Microbe‐Enzyme C – N – P Stoichiometry and Drives a Shift From N ‐ to P ‐Limitation in Alpine Meadows on the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau

Open Access•Yuan Yuan Duan, C Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2025

Soil‐microbe‐enzyme C–N–P stoichiometry is a key indicator of nutrient cycling and ecosystem resilience. This study examines its response to plateau pika ( Ochotona curzoniae ) disturbance in alpine meadows on the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau. The results demonstrated that plateau pika disturbance significantly enhanced soil organic carbon (SOC) by 28.97%, soil total nitrogen (STN) by 8.25%, and soil total phosphorus (STP) by 9.15%. Microbial biomass C …

  • The mental health of Chinese military personnel: A cross-sectional epidemiological study

Open Access•Jing Kou, Kaiyuan Jing et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2024

The prevalence of mental health problems among Chinese military personnel has remained at a relatively low level, but our data still suggest that a significant number of individuals in the Chinese military population are affected by mental health issues. It is crucial for military units, society, and the nation to continuously prioritize the mental well-being of soldiers and provide them with more mental health care services

  • The protective mechanism of Tao Hong Si Wu decoction against breast cancer through regulation of EGFR/ERK1/2 signaling

Open Access•Shi Huang, Dan Yao et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024

  • Can vertical environmental regulation become a sharp weapon in China's green development process? The moderating role of pollution dividend

Open Access•Sixuan Du, Haiying Pan et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2023

Optimizing the vertical environmental regulation (VER) effect of the central government and reducing the negative execution motivation of local governments have become the priority points to accelerate the green development of China. Based on the spatial Durbin model, this paper not only examines the influence of VER on green development efficiency (GDE), but also discusses the moderating effect of politically and economically motivated pollution…

  • Parallel Channel Identification and Elimination Method Based on the Spatial Position Relationship of Different Channels

Open Access•Mingwei Zhao, Xiaoxiao Ju et al.•ARTICLE•ISPRS International Journal of…•2023

Extracting a channel network based on the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is one of the key research topics in digital terrain analysis. However, when the channel area is wide and flat, it is easy to form parallel channels, which seriously affect the accuracy of channel network extraction. To solve this problem, this study proposes a method to identify and eliminate parallel channels extracted by classical methods. First, the channel level in the s…

  • Risk factors and prediction model for mental health in Chinese soldiers

Open Access•Mengxue Zhao, Ying He et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2023

The findings of this study demonstrate that mental disorders and onset in Chinese soldiers can be predicted on the basis of these three questionnaires, and the predictive value of the combined model was high

  • Network pharmacology and experimental validation-based approach to understand the effect and mechanism of Taohong Siwu Decoction against ischemic stroke

Open Access•Lingyu Pan, Can Peng et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2022

  • Exploring the Relationship Between Anxiety, Depression, and Sleep Disturbance Among HIV Patients in China From a Network Perspective

Open Access•Ni Wang, Muyu Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2021

Background: Mental disorder of people living with HIV (PLWH) has become a common and increasing worldwide public health concern. We aimed to explore the relationship between anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbance for PLWH from a network perspective. Methods: The network model featured 28 symptoms on the Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale questionnaire and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire in a sample of 4,091 HIV-infected person…

  • Influence of Chinese National Centralized Drug Procurement on the price of policy-related drugs: An interrupted time series analysis

Open Access•Ni Wang, Ying Yang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2021

These findings indicate that the price behavior of pharmaceutical enterprises changed under NCDP policy, while the price linkage effect is still limited. It is necessary to further expand the scope of centralized purchased drugs and strengthen the monitoring of related drugs regarding price change and consumption structure

  • A Preliminary Study on the Teaching Model of College English Reading: Fragmented Reading

    Open Access•Ni Wang, Wang Ni•ARTICLE•Asian Social Science•2020

English reading is of vital significance in English learning. In proficiency tests such as CET-4, CET-6, IELTS and TOFEL, extensive reading accounts for a large proportion in scores. Those who do well in reading tend to get higher scores. However, the current English teaching situation doesn’t show its significance: the in-class time is limited with only two classes each week, and it’s difficult to decide appropriate textbooks for teachers. As a …
