This study aimed to verify the relationship between the level of understanding of health information and health behaviors among Korean adults. This study aimed to examine the motives, topics and antecedents for sharing health information online among Korean Internet users. Eight hundred adults completed a web-based survey exploring the motives; topics; physical, cognitive, affective and environmental factors; and experiences relating to sharing health information online. In this essay, we argue that ethnic Americans and new immigrants are both influenced by and affect urban development differently in a new era of globalization. Varied spatial practices take place among the mosaic of races, ethnicities, classes, and genders. Alliances and struggles shape conflicting communal perceptions of identity within those spaces. Confronting the liquor industry in Los Angeles
Investigates the anti‐liquor store campaign in Los Angeles, California, USA, against Korean immigrants led by African Americans and Latino Americans. Shows that inner city areas in Los Angeles are not as deeply segregated as portrayed.
