Solidarity in the European Union and the resilience of the state as a communicative frame
Linking crises
Crisis responses are created in reference to the meanings of other crises. Transition from Academic Integrity to Research Integrity
Given the prevalence of misconduct in research and among students in higher education, there is a need to create solutions for how best to prevent such behaviour in academia. This study aims to propose a construct of the social embeddedness of older adults and its measurement tool, based on a critical review of the literature and the result…
Determining the Population of Language Editors in Lithuania
The article presents methodological solutions related to the planning and implementation of a survey of language editors in Lithuania. The study intended to conduct a representative quantitative survey of language editors working with texts of public usage of the standard Lithuanian language. However, the population of language editors in Lithuania is not defined, and there are no sources that would systematically provide the information needed t…
Enhancing the Taxonomies Relating to Academic Integrity and Misconduct
A clear understanding of terminology is crucial in any academic field. When it is clear that complex interdisciplinary concepts are interpreted differently depending on the academic field, geographical setting or cultural values, it is time to take action. Given this, the Glossary for Academic Integrity, newly developed by the European Network for Academic Integrity project, served as the basis for compiling a comprehensive taxonomy of terms rela…
