Thermophysiology and Cognitive Performance of Live-Line Workers in High-Temperature and High-Humidity Environments
Live-line workers' physiological and psychological conditions are significantly affected when operating in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, influencing both work efficiency and safety. Fifteen participants, wearing high-voltage-shielding clothing, were tested in a simulated environmental chamber at temperatures of 23 °C, 32 °C, and 38 °C, and relative humidities of RH 30%, RH 50%, and RH 75%. The experiment involved walking at a s…

Disability-Free Life Expectancy among People Over 60 Years Old by Sex, Urban and Rural Areas in Jiangxi Province, China
The increase in DFLE is accompanied by the increase in LE, but with increased age, DFLE/LE gradually decreases. With advancing age, the effect of disability on elderly people becomes more severe. The government administration must implement some preventive actions to improve health awareness and the life quality of the elderly. Rural elderly; rural women in particular, need to be paid more attention and acquire more health care
Depression and Anxiety-Free Life Expectancy by Sex and Urban–Rural Areas in Jiangxi, China in 2013 and 2018
Objective: To quantitatively estimate life expectancy (LE) and depression and anxiety-free life expectancy (DAFLE) for the years 2013 and 2018 in Jiangxi Province, China, by sex and urban-rural areas. Additionally, to compare the discrepancy of DAFLE/LE of different sexes and urban-rural areas over various years. Methods: Based on the summary of the health statistics of Jiangxi Province in 2013 and 2018 and the results of the 5th and 6th National…
