Assessment of Global Social Responsibility
The emerging reality of a global community has led to development of a construct of global social responsibility and to a scale as described here. A sample of 219 adults assigned to four levels of social activism responded to a pool of items judged to be indicative of the construct, and a 160-person subsample provided additional data concerning social activism. Ego development and impulsivity data were collected from an early adolescence group (Mean age= 14.8) and a late adolescence group (Mean age= 18.7).
