  • Timing of Sierra Nevadan stadial/interstadial variations from 15 to 56 ka

    Open Access•Steve P Lund, Larry Benson et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2021

  • Paleomagnetic secular variation and environmental magnetism of Holocene-age sediments from Tulare Lake, CA

Open Access•Janine Roza, Brandon Jackson et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary Research•2016

The lake-level record from Tulare Lake, CA has been shown to provide valuable constraints on late Pleistocene and Holocene runoff from the Sierra Nevada mountain range into the San Joaquin Valley of California, one of the world's most prolific agricultural centers. This project uses the magnetic properties of the Tulare Lake sediments in order to date the sediments and to constrain the relative lake level at the time of deposition. Shallowing lak…

  • Correlation of climate records between a Great Basin lake and a Greenland ice core during the Mono Lake excursion

Open Access•Gregory Richard Thompson, Lindsey D Medina et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2015

  • Holocene lake-level history of Tulare Lake, California as input for Sierra Nevada river discharge forecasts
