Prunella vulgaris L. ameliorates goiter in Wistar rats is associated with changes in Rap1GAP/CREB3L1/PI3K-AKT signaling pathway
Analysis of the Manifestations and Causes of Gender Differences in Personality Traits
At present, the exploration of personality traits in the field of psychology is becoming increasingly in-depth. This article explores the relationship between gender and personality traits in light of the differences between men and women in terms of growth environment, social expectations and self-expectations. The research mainly employed questionnaire surveys and also referred to relevant literature on gender, personality traits, and mental he…
A systematic review of urban informality research from an urbanization crisis context perspective
Vulnerability assessment of disaster chains
Rapid seismic damage assessment of building portfolio based on fusion of surrogate model and monitored data
Examining the Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Collaborative Innovation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization
Against the backdrop of intensifying anti-globalisation, scientific and technological cooperation among regional international organisations plays an increasingly significant role. Cooperation among the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries has continued deepening—expanding from the security domain to include education, science, technology, and other areas—and has become an important aspect of international scientific and technologica…
Estimation performance is modulated by emotional valence and stimulus onset asynchrony (SOA)
The present study indicates that participants' estimation performance is modulated by the interaction between emotional valence and SOA. Practically, estimation strategies in education/cognitive training should be dynamically adjusted based on SOA and emotional states
Impaired response inhibition to negative emotional stimuli in depressed adolescents with non-suicidal self-injury
Depressed adolescents with NSSI showed increased P3d amplitudes, enhanced Delta/Theta ERS, and heightened Theta/Alpha ERD when receiving negative emotional stimuli, suggesting that depressed adolescents with NSSI have impaired response inhibition, which may contribute to the development of NSSI
Thyroid function, physical activity and sedentary behaviour
Background: The interinfluence of thyroid function and daily physical activity (PA) remains unclear. We examined the causal relationship between genetically proxied thyroid-related traits; hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and free thyroxine (FT4), and daily PA measures; leisure screen time (LST) and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA), using Mendelian randomisation (MR) analysis. Methods: We used genome…
Effects of altitude on thyroid disorders according to Chinese three-rung, ladder-like topography
We are the first to investigate the association between different ladder regions and thyroid disorders according to unique Chinese topographic features. The prevalence of thyroid disorders varied among the three-rung ladder-like topography groups in China, with the exception of overt hyperthyroidism
Changes in microstates of first-episode untreated nonsuicidal self-injury adolescents exposed to negative emotional stimuli and after receiving rTMS intervention
MDD adolescents with NSSI showed abnormal changes in several microstate parameters when receiving negative emotional stimuli, and compared to those not receiving rTMS treatment, MDD adolescents with NSSI treated with rTMS showed more significant improvements in depressive symptoms and NSSI performance, as well as improvements in EEG microstate abnormalities
The Impact of Covid-19 on Consumers’ Psychological Behavior Based on Data Mining for Online User Comments in the Catering Industry in China
The outbreak of COVID-19 in late 2019 has had a huge impact on people's daily life. Many restaurant businesses have been greatly affected by it. Consumers' preferences for catering industry in China have changed, such as environmental hygiene, variety of dishes, and service methods. Therefore, the analysis of consumer preference differences and changes before and after the epidemic can not only provide emergency strategies for the catering indust…
Association between Take-Out Food Consumption and Obesity among Chinese University Students
Among Chinese college students, consumption of take-out food may be affected by major category, preference for HFHS food, degree level, and BMI. This could provide guidance on restrictions of high take-out food consumption, which contributes to high obesity prevalence and high risk for metabolic diseases
