Development of the DANish Cognitive Screen for Cardiac Arrest Survivors (DANcSCA)
We have successfully developed and reported a digital screening for cognitive deficits following cardiac arrest. This approach has the potential to enable systematic screening of all cardiac arrest survivors
Comparing disparities in geographic proximity to exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation before and after decentralisation of services
Based on unique national data, this study is the first to demonstrate how decentralisation increased geographic proximity to exercise-based CR. Remote and rural areas, and certain vulnerable groups benefitted particularly, leading to reduced inequality in geographic proximity after decentralisation. With lack of geographic proximity being a known barrier to participation in CR programs, the study supports decentralisation of services as an instru…
Measuring HRQoL following heart valve surgery
What to expect after open heart valve surgery? Changes in health-related quality of life
Patient-specific versus Organisational Barriers to Program Adherence
We found that adherence was strongly related to organisational factors. Adherence differed significantly at all organisational levels (hospital, municipality, general practice), thus indicating challenges in the vertical integration of care. Gender influenced adherence as the only patient-related factor
A new internet-based tool for reporting and analysing patient-reported outcomes and the feasibility of repeated data collection from patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms
A personalized and interactive web-based innovation to AdvanCe the QualIty of life and caRE in Heart Failure patients (Acquire-HF)
The International Journal of Integrated Care (IJIC) is an online, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original articles in the field of integrated care on a continuous basis.IJIC has an Impact Factor of 2.913 (2021 JCR, received in June 2022)The IJIC 20th Anniversary Issue was published in 2021
The MacNew Heart Disease Health-Related Quality of Life Questionnaire
Hospital Variation in Mortality After First Acute Myocardial Infarction in Denmark From 1995 to 2002
BACKGROUND: This study used linked data from the National Hospital Registry to determine the factors that contribute to differences between hospitals in all-cause mortality after first acute myocardial infarction (AMI) between 1995 and 2002. METHODS: The study included 64,321 patients with their first admission for AMI between 1995 and 2002 and surviving the day of admission. Multilevel logistic regression was used to determine the relationships …
