Evolving trends, regional differences, determinants, and disease sources of provincial-level health inequalities in china 1990–2019
Regional differences are a major source of health inequities in China. Prioritizing prevention and control of CMNNDs, rather than NCDs, may yield more pronounced impacts on reducing health inequalities from the perspective of marginal effect, although NCDs remain the largest absolute contributor to health inequalities
Effect of ecological restoration projects on carbon footprint in a grassland ecosystem on the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau
Investigating the cost‐effective and low‐carbon pathways for grassland ecological restoration projects is vital to achieving carbon neutrality and Sustainable Development Goals. To fill the gap of incorporating ecological and socioeconomic systems of ecological restoration projects, this study established a cost‐benefit evaluation framework that integrated the carbon footprint based on life cycle assessment and a carbon price measurement model ba…
Development and validation of a prognostic nomogram for adult patients with renal sarcoma
Background: Renal sarcoma (RS) is rarely seen in clinical practice. The purpose of this study was to develop a prognostic nomogram model, which could predict the probability of overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS) in adult patients with RS. Methods: Patients diagnosed with RS were recruited from the SEER database between 2004 and 2015, and randomized to two cohorts: the training cohort and the validation cohort. Uni- and multi…
Health Services Utilization in China during the Covid-19 Pandemic
Timely access to essential health services is a concern as COVID-19 continues. This study aimed to investigate health services utilization during the first wave of the pandemic in China. A cross-sectional online survey was conducted using a self-administrated questionnaire in March 2020. Descriptive statistics and logistic regression were used for data analysis. A total of 4744 respondents were included, with 52.00% reporting affected services ut…
