Câteva observații privind unele morminte de copii descoperite în necropola de la Caransebeș-Centru în anul 2017, pe baza analizelor antropologice și fizico-chimice
Cercetrile arheologice din oraul medieval Caransebe, din afara ariei fortificate, au dus la descoperirea unui monument de cult i a necropolei aferente. Aceasta a fost precedat de un alt cimitir, datat n veacurile XI-XII. n biseric au fost cercetate mai multe cripte, iar n exteriorul su au fost trasate cteva casete n care erau morminte datate n secolele XIV-XVI. Sptura a fost reluat n anul 2017, cnd au fost cercetate alte 35 de complexe funerare. …

The archaeological site Pecica-Monastery of Ahtum is located in Arad County, at the point called Hăblău, on the Mureş River (Pl. I). The monastery is known in the medieval documents dating from the fourteenth century. The archaeological research on site indicated the existence of two churches, partially overlapping.
