En el sector sur de un amplio cañadón denominado Mack Aike (conocido localmente como Chorrillo Grande) -margen norte de la cuenca media del río Gallegos-, se registró un voluminoso núcleo (231 mm x 210 mm x 147 mm) con extracciones multidireccionales producto de la talla de un rodado tamaño bloque de ópalo y calcedonia. This contribution describes the populations of hunter-gatherer that inhabited the southern portion of the Ro Gallegos estuary, the southernmost river basin of Argentinean continental Patagonia. Soil dating, geomorphological relationships, and the study of lithic assemblages are used to narrow down chronologically the use of space.
