Physical Arousal Concealed during Emotional Stress
Physical responses to emotional tension of 97 patients were monitored by cardiovascular techniques while patients were in psychotherapy. Heart rates and blood pressures were measured, results of electrocardiograms analyzed, and voice transmission and videotapes studied.
