    Open Access•Sarah A Grainger, John D Crawford et al.•ARTICLE•The Journals of Gerontology…•2022•Cited by: 2•References: 2

These findings provide novel and important evidence that normative aging is associated with both gains and losses in social cognition that occur at distinct points of the adult life-span, and that are at least partially independent of general age-related cognitive decline

Teresa Lee, Darren M Lipnicki et al.•ARTICLE•The Journals of Gerontology…•2013•References: 3

  • An empirical investigation of the influence of modernisation on the moral judgements of managers in the People’s Republic of China

Open Access•Kylie Redfern, John Crawford et al.•ARTICLE•Cross Cultural Management An…•2004

This paper investigates the influence of modernisation on the moral judgements of 211 managers residing in the People’s Republic of China, based on their responses to a series of vignettes depicting potentially unethical behaviour in organisations. Managers from the more industrialised and economically advanced provinces in China gave harsher moral …

  • Archaeological collections from sandhill sites in the Isle of Coll, Argyll & Bute

John Crawford, John D Crawford et al.•ARTICLE•Proceedings of the Society of…•1998

Over the past twenty years, large collections of surface finds have been retrieved from erosion areas within the sandhills on the Argyll island of Coll. A selection of these finds has been catalogued and illustrated to draw attention to the range of evidence that is available, including material representative of virtually all periods from the Mesolithic to the recent past. There is a brief discussion of the contribution that this fieldwork has m…

  • Project Burn Prevention: Outcome and implications

    Elizabeth McLoughlin, C J Vince et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Public Health•1982•Cited by: 7•References: 13

Project Burn Prevention was designed and implemented to determine the ability of a public education program to increase awareness about burn hazards and reduce the incidence and severity of burn injuries. Media messages were transmitted to residents of a large metropolitan area; separate school and community interventions were implemented in two demographically similar communities within the Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area (SMSA). A second…

  • A comparison of age-specific burn injury rates in five Massachusetts communities

A Mackay, Annette M Mackay et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Public Health•1979•Cited by: 5

We measured burn incidence rates for residents of five Massachusetts cities. The data set included all non-occupational burn injuries and cases of smoke inhalation requiring treatment on an inpatient or an outpatient basis in a hospital, occurring between October 1, 1973 and September 30, 1976. Rates of burn injuries by age, and by burn type were calculated for each city. Examination of the data revealed large differences in the magnitude of the …
