Craniofacial sexual dimorphism in a Northern-Greek pre-pubertal population
Craniofacial sexual dimorphism on size and shape in a prepubertal (6–12 years of age) population of northern Greece has been studied by means of both univariate and multivariate analysis. The structure of population was limiting the influence of environmental and genetic factors. Even though there have been observed statistical significant differences between the sexes in most of the variables it has not been concluded any sexual dimorphism in th…
A craniofacial morphological study of a population of northern Greek children
689 boys and 644 girls of a northern Greek children population have been studied concerning the head and face shape by means of principal component analysis. From the morphological patterns show a homogenic population with small shape differences due mainly to vertical and ear variables. Size differences appear to be responsible for the variability of the population
