Integrated Inpatient Trauma-Focused Treatment for Children and Parents
This longitudinal study evaluated the outcomes of the KINGS inpatient trauma-focused family treatment program for families experiencing complex and multiple problems. The program integrates trauma treatment for both parents and children with interventions targeting emotion regulation, parenting, and the parent–child relationship, delivered in an inpatient setting that provides safety and treatment intensity.
