  • An empirical Stock‐Flow Consistent regional model of Campania

Open Access•Rosa Canelli, Riccardo Realfonzo et al.•ARTICLE•Papers of the Regional Science…•2021•References: 12

  • Are EU Policies Effective to Tackle the Covid-19 Crisis? The Case of Italy

Open Access•Rosa Canelli, Giuseppe Fontana et al.•ARTICLE•Review of Political Economy•2021•References: 2

In response to the economic crisis unleashed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the EU authorities have launched extraordinary fiscal and monetary measures in support of member states. The impact of these measures is of great significance for Italy, the EU third-largest economy, which as a result of the pandemic has suffered a dramatic decline in GDP, and a further rise in the government debt to GDP ratio. • The Real Effects of a Euro Exit

    Riccardo Realfonzo, Angelantonio Viscione•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2015•References: 1

  • Money as Finance and Money as Universal Equivalent

Riccardo Bellofiore, Riccardo Realfonzo•CHAPTER•Modern Theories of Money•2003

This book unites diverse heterodox traditions in the study of endogenous money – which until now have been confined to their own academic quarters – and explores their similarities and differences from both sides of the Atlantic.

  • Marx Inside the Circuit

Riccardo Bellofiore, Guglielmo Forges Davanzati et al.•ARTICLE•Review of Political Economy•2000•Cited by: 3•References: 4

The aim of this paper is to show that Marxian labour theory of value can be consistently interpreted in terms of the monetary circuit model, where firms need initial finance to start production and where the money supply is endogenous. In contrast to the recently revived Marxian monetary models, in particular the New Interpretation, it is argued here that although the money wage is bargained for on the labour market, the real wage is determined b…
