“Literacy is Everywhere!” Bringing Alive History in a Place-Based Professional Development on Saipan
This article reports findings from a qualitative study of a professional development program funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities on the island of Saipan, a US commonwealth in the western Pacific Ocean. Drawing teachers
This article examines representations of gender in teacher drawings by pre-service elementary educators enrolled in a literacy methods course in the southeast United States. A total of 55 pre-service teachers completed 110 drawings with brief narratives or 55 sets.
